Preview: Netherlands v Denmark, Japan v Cameroon, Italy v Paraguay

Netherlands v Denmark
The Dutch, without playmaker Arjen Robben know that they can still get a result. Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder, and Dirk Kuyt, must all have a good game, and they need to finish. Denmark cannot rely too heavily on Nikolas Bentner. The entire team must show up, and like the Netherlands, must finish. I think the Netherlands will control the match, and will create many chances. Eventually, they will break through, and once that happens, the 3 pts will be theirs. Prediction: Netherlands 3.0 Denmark

Japan v Cameroon
The star of this match should be Samuel Eto'o or Japan's Honda. Cameroon must use their size and athletisism to control the game. Japan just need to be smart and patient, and not allow Cameroon in behind. Cameroon should have most of the possession, but maybe they will not start off well, and Japan will. The opening minutes will really be a good chance to see how the rest of the game plays out, but I think: Japan 1.2 Cameroon

Italy v Paraguay
I don't think Italy will be as good as everyone is saying this World Cup. It is the same side that won in Germany plus four years. Paraguay did well in qualifying and it could be a good test for the Italians. Italy will be without Totti, who was not selected for South Africa. Paraguay can win this, if they defend well and finish the few chances they will get. Italy will probably control the game, but anything can happen. My prediction: Italy 1.1 Paraguay
